How we measure — composite, not single-tool.

No single audit tool tells the truth alone. Every monthly report blends 5 sources — Google Search Console is the source of truth for what's actually happening in real Google, the other 4 add the geo precision, the keyword universe, the off-page signal, and the live SERP context. SEMrush is a useful 6th data point for national volume; we use it too, but it samples nationally and doesn't include the Map Pack — which is why its local-rank reports often diverge from what Google is actually showing in Lansdale.
